Postage

We offer different levels of postage costs and you will be able to choose which method of postage you would prefer prior to the payment stage. These costs will be covered by you.

The level of insurance is your responsibility and we have supplied details of this below and during the ‘checkout’ procedure. Orders will be dispatched at the postal request submitted in the orders. If your order value is over £39 and you chose the Recorded Delivery option, New Car Parts Ltd will only be able to claim £39, should the order be damaged in transit or failed to be delivered and deemed lost. New Car Parts Ltd will not replace the parts contained within orders which value is above £39.

If the weight of your order is over 2kg's it will be automatically sent by courier and these will have set prices. All our courier services for the UK are next day delivery from the time the parcel is dispatched. This however does not include zones out with the next day criteria.

Parts purchased via the ‘Price Finder Special Order Part’ option will only be dispatched once all the parts have been received from BMW. Therefore some postage options on these orders may only have Royal Mail Special Next day Delivery or Courier next day by 17.30, due to the value or weight. However the order will be delivered the next day from the date of dispatch, not the date the order is placed. All customers receive notification by email when an order has been shipped.

There is also the option to have orders weighing up to 70kg to sent to locations worldwide. We have provided 3 options, based on delivery times and insurance coverage. However as freight charges are calculated on volume, larger items, which include bumpers and panels, will require higher postage than their weight calculates. We will contact you prior to shipment.

We aim to have all parts shipped no later than 3 days after receipt of payment. However ‘Price Finder Special Ordered‘ may take longer depending on availability. Distance selling regulations allow traders up to 28 days to send out sold Goods.

Order Dispatches

Orders received after 3pm may not be shipped until the next working day (Excludes Special Order Price Finder parts). We will however try our best to ship any orders received after these times, but it is not guaranteed.

Courier collections are made daily at 3pm, orders placed with courier delivery will be required by midday to be in with a chance of dispatch. Please call 01733 332314 if you place an order after this time and we will do our best to have your order dispatched. (Excludes Special Order Price Finder parts)

Orders received after 5.30pm will be dispatched the next working day. (Excludes Special Order Price Finder parts)

Orders Being Shipped by Courier – PLEASE READ

When signing for a parcel shipped by a courier, the courier company will accept the signature as you receiving the goods in good condition and undamaged. By undamaged they mean the enclosed items within the parcel, not just the packaging.

Before signing ask to view the contents, if they don’t allow you too, inspect the outside of the box and ALWAYS sign ‘unchecked’ even if the box looks undamaged. The courier companies that we have spoken to allow the receiving party to inspect the contents before signing. However some delivery drivers won’t allow this.

Be extra vigilant with long narrow boxes as these are prone to being bent to fit inside cages.

If in doubt take a note of the time the parcel was received and then pictures of the parcel before opening and afterwards.
